I am a painter and in a band called Lark, which functions as a solo and full band project. The painting came first and I started Lark 8 years ago. I split my time 50/50 between the two areas, they are more best mates than buddies. Both my painting and music studios are in the same building. ‘Sliced’ is a jump in scale after making mainly small paintings over the last 4 years. ‘We Dance’ is a track from Lark’s acclaimed latest album ‘I Don’t Got’. – Karl Bielik, 2012
