“The aim of art is not to copy nature, but to express it!” – Frenhofer

From The Unknown Masterpiece, by Honoré de Balzac

I tend to paint about the intersection between the genres of landscape painting and abstract painting. Though no creative project is that singular and many other factors come into play. For me it is my love of fly fishing and hiking. When I am in nature I try to be aware of how everything is knitted together and when something strikes me curious I pull out my camera and record it.
